Teaching

Introduction to Biomedical  Engineering

Freshmen introductory class to the field of Biomedical Engineering.

Biomechanics

Core class for junior biomedical engineering undergraduate covering rigid body kinematics and dynamics and mechanics of materials for biomedical engineering.

Senior Design

Two semesters class for senior biomedical engineering covering the material necessary for the required final design capstone project. Teams of students design, build, and test mechanical designs.

Orthopaedic Biomechanics

Graduate level technical elective covering mechanics of the musculoskeletal system, including physiology, structure, function, and mechanics.

Cell and Tissue Mechanics

Graduate level technical elective covering the biomechanics of the musculoskeletal, cardiovascular, breathing and ocular systems. The course includes physiology, structure, and function to explain the biomechanics.

Experimental Biomechanics

Graduate level technical elective covering experimental biomechanics analysis of tissue, organs and systems of the musculoskeletal and cardiovascular systems.
